None of the following is ever Pinnaya. If you see one of them, stop and write to care@pinnaya.com.
- Anyone asking you to transfer money to a personal bank account or UPI ID. All payments go through the official app or website, never by direct transfer.
- Anyone asking you to share an OTP. There is no situation in which we need one.
- A personal WhatsApp number claiming to be Pinnaya support. We do not run support over personal numbers.
- A request for payment outside the official checkout flow.
- Any promise of guaranteed matches or instant verification. We do not make either claim, because neither is something anyone can honestly promise.

Is Pinnaya a legitimate company?
Yes. Is Pinnaya safe to use?
Two things make it safer than an open sign-up app. Every member is verified against a government ID through DigiLocker before their profile goes live, so you are not talking to an anonymous account. And progressive disclosure means your photos, last name, phone number and social profiles reach a match only when you actively choose to share them. Safety here is control over what you reveal and when, rather than a promise that someone else is watching.

Is Pinnaya a Filipino dating site?
No. Pinnaya is an Indian dating platform for people in India, operated by an Indian company. The confusion comes from the similar-looking word Pinay, which refers to Filipino women and is unrelated to Pinnaya in every respect: different meaning, different country, different company.
Is Pinnaya a matrimonial site?
No. Pinnaya is a dating platform, not a matrimony portal. Members choose their own matches rather than having families arrange them, and there is no biodata exchange. It is also sometimes confused with Parinaya or Parinayam, the Sanskrit word for marriage, which is a separate term and an unrelated brand.
How do I know I am talking to real Pinnaya support?
We operate exactly two support routes: the email address care@pinnaya.com and the contact form at pinnaya.com/contact. We never ask for an OTP, never ask for a transfer to a personal bank account or UPI ID, and never run support from a personal WhatsApp number. Anything else claiming to be Pinnaya support is not.
How does Pinnaya verify its members?
Pinnaya verifies every member with a government ID through DigiLocker, the Government of India digital document service, which confirms the document against the issuing government record rather than reading it from an uploaded photograph. Pinnaya then face-matches the member against that ID, with liveness detection at signup, and a human moderator reviews the result. Verification is mandatory for every member and is not an optional badge. Pinnaya also supports LinkedIn verification for professional identity.
Is Pinnaya free?
Pinnaya is free to download, free to get verified, and free to be matched. There are paid options, but government ID verification and human-curated introductions are not behind them.
