Question 1

Why should I join before Pinnaya has many members?

Accepted Answer

Great question - and one we get asked a lot. Here's why being an early member is actually an advantage:

• **More personalized attention**: With fewer members, your matchmaker can spend significantly more time understanding what you really want
• **Shape the community**: Your feedback directly influences features, events, and culture. You're not just a user - you're a co-creator
• **Founding member pricing forever**: Lock in your rate for life. When we grow and prices increase, you'll always pay your founding rate
• **Direct concierge access**: Reach the core team quickly for questions and feedback
• **Quality over quantity from day one**: We're building slowly and intentionally, not racing to scale

Plus, we're transparent: if we can't find suitable matches in your area within 60 days, we'll work with you to pause your billing. You only pay when we can deliver value.

Question 2

How is Pinnaya different from swipe-based dating apps?

Accepted Answer

We're not an app - we're a curated community. Key differences:

• **Compatibility Intelligence**: Our proprietary engine analyzes various signals for reciprocal potential - not surface-level swiping
• **Human validation**: Relationship experts review every match before you see it
• **You're in control**: Set your preferences, we curate better options, you make the final call
• Strict ID verification significantly reduces fake profiles
• No swiping or browsing - just Limited set of Curated matches
• Progressive disclosure lets you control what you share and when

Think of it as intelligent curation backed by human expertise - where technology proposes and humans validate.

Question 3

Who is Pinnaya for? Am I eligible to join?

Accepted Answer

Pinnaya is for ambitious professionals who are serious about finding lasting relationships. Whether you're just starting your career or already established, if you value quality over quantity and want genuine connections, you belong here. We welcome all genders and orientations. You should join if:

• You're ready for something real, not casual dating
• You value quality over quantity in matches
• You're willing to invest in finding the right person
• You can pass ID verification

We're not for people looking for hookups, open relationships, or those not ready to commit emotionally to the process.

Question 4

Which cities is Pinnaya available in?

Accepted Answer

Currently active: Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Lucknow.

Expanding soon to more cities across India.

Not in these cities? Join our waitlist. Early members get founding member pricing forever and help shape the community.

Question 5

What if I'm one of the first members in my city?

Accepted Answer

Honestly? This is actually ideal. Here's why:

• **Quality over quantity**: We'd rather introduce you to 3 highly compatible people than 30 mediocre matches
• **Fair billing policy**: If we can't find suitable matches within 60 days, we'll work with you to pause your billing. You keep community access but don't pay.
• **Active recruitment**: When you join, we actively reach out to professionals who match your preferences to invite them
• **Founding member advantage**: You get first access to new members who join in your area
• **Community building**: You help set the culture and expectations for future members

Plus, smaller communities mean your matchmaker knows everyone personally. They can make truly thoughtful introductions, not just run an algorithm.

Question 6

Why do you require ID verification? What happens to my ID?

Accepted Answer

ID verification significantly reduces fake profiles and catfishing. Here's exactly what happens:

1. You upload any government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driver's License)
2. Take a selfie that our AI matches to your ID
3. Human team typically reviews within 24 hours
4. Your ID images are automatically deleted after verification
5. We only keep a verification badge, not your documents

This creates accountability and helps ensure everyone is who they claim to be. Your safety is our top priority.

Question 7

How do you protect my data and privacy?

Accepted Answer

Your privacy is sacred to us:

• Bank-level AES-256 encryption for all data
• Designed to comply with GDPR and India DPA 2023
• We don't sell or share your data with third parties
• ID images deleted after verification
• Messages are end-to-end encrypted
• You can download or delete your data anytime

We conduct regular security assessments. No data breaches reported to date.

Question 8

What is progressive profile disclosure and why does it matter?

Accepted Answer

Progressive profile disclosure is Pinnaya's patent-pending women's safety system. A woman sees a match first and decides when to be seen: her photos, last name and contact details reach a match only when she decides that match has earned them.

• She sees her match first
• She decides when to be seen
• She can stop at any point without explaining herself

On most apps a woman is on view to strangers before she has chosen anyone. Progressive profile disclosure reverses that order.

Question 9

Is Pinnaya safe for women?

Accepted Answer

Pinnaya is built around women's safety, through control rather than supervision:

• Every member is verified with a government ID through DigiLocker, with face matching and liveness detection
• A woman's photos, last name and contact details reach a match only when she decides they have earned them
• Married people cannot join, and a member found to be married is removed
• Human moderators review verifications, and in-app reporting is available

Pinnaya has a patent pending on progressive profile disclosure, its women's safety system.

Question 10

Can married people join Pinnaya?

Accepted Answer

No. Pinnaya is only for people who are not married. Married people cannot join, and a member found to be married is removed.

Everyone who joins has also stated they are looking for a long-term partner. If you believe a member is married, report them in the app.

Question 11

Is Pinnaya a discreet or affair app?

Accepted Answer

No. Pinnaya is not a discreet dating, extramarital or affair platform. Married people cannot join, and verification exists so members know exactly who they are talking to, never so anyone can hide.

Progressive disclosure is sometimes mistaken for secrecy. It is the opposite: it exists so a woman sees a match first and decides when to be seen, not so anyone can date without being known. Every member is verified against a government ID, so nobody here is anonymous.

Question 12

How does the matching process actually work?

Accepted Answer

Here's your exact timeline:

**Day 1**: Apply and complete ID verification
**Day 2-3**: Set your preferences - values, lifestyle, dealbreakers. You're in control.
**Day 4-7**: Compatibility Intelligence analyzes various signals for reciprocal potential
**Day 7-10**: Human experts validate and refine matches
**Week 1-2**: Receive Limited set of Curated matches with compatibility notes
**Ongoing**: Connect only with mutual interest, provide feedback, receive refined matches

Compatibility Intelligence proposes. Human experts validate. You decide. Every match ensures mutual interest and emotional resonance - not just surface-level compatibility.

Question 13

What if there aren't enough matches in my area?

Accepted Answer

We're transparent about this:

• If we can't find suitable matches within 60 days, we automatically pause your billing
• You keep access to all events and community features while paused
• We notify you when potential matches join
• You decide when to resume your subscription

This mainly affects new cities. Our active metros (Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad) typically have matches available within your first week.

Question 14

Can I specify my preferences? What about dealbreakers?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! **You're in control.** Your detailed profile captures:

• Age range and location flexibility
• Educational and professional background
• Religious/cultural considerations
• Lifestyle choices (kids, pets, smoking, drinking)
• Values and long-term goals
• Hard dealbreakers

Compatibility Intelligence uses your preferences to analyze various signals for reciprocal potential. Human experts then validate each match. We also look for unexpected connections - sometimes the best matches don't fit the exact checklist, but our experts can spot what data might miss.

Question 15

How is this different from traditional matchmakers?

Accepted Answer

Traditional matchmakers often charge a large sum upfront for outdated processes. Here's how we're different:

**Pinnaya advantages:**
• **Affordable monthly subscription**: No huge upfront commitment
• **No lock-in**: Cancel anytime, no long-term contracts
• **Modern platform**: App-based, verified, convenient
• **Transparent process**: You see exactly how matching works
• **Ongoing support**: Continuous service, not a one-time fee
• **Human-led**: Direct communication with the core team

**Traditional matchmaker downsides:**
• Large upfront costs
• Opaque process (you don't know what's happening)
• Limited tech integration (phone calls and databases)
• Fixed number of introductions
• No refunds if it doesn't work

**The sweet spot**: We combine human judgment of traditional matchmaking with modern technology and fair pricing.

Question 16

What exactly am I paying for with each membership?

Accepted Answer

We offer tiered membership plans. Check our app for the latest pricing. Here's what's included:

**Founding Member:**
• Limited set of Curated matches
• Matchmaker consultations
• Community events
• 24-hour verification
• All safety features

**Pro:**
• Limited set of Curated matches
• Unlimited matchmaker support
• Priority access to all events + exclusive workshops
• Priority verification (same day)
• Discounted counseling sessions
• Couples' community access

Both include our fair billing policy and the attention of real humans invested in your success.

Question 17

What's your refund policy? Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

We aim to keep it simple and fair:

• Refund consideration for new members within 14 days if there are service issues
• Full refund if you can't pass verification (no fault of yours)
• Cancel anytime with no penalties
• Keep access until your billing period ends
• If we pause you for no matches, that time is credited

No long-term contracts, no hidden fees. We earn your subscription every month. Note: Refunds are evaluated case-by-case and subject to our terms of service.

Question 18

Why should I pay when other apps are free?

Accepted Answer

Free apps make money by keeping you addicted to swiping - they profit from your attention, not your success.

Pinnaya is different:
• We're paid to find you a relationship, not keep you scrolling
• Paid membership ensures everyone is serious
• Human verification and matchmaking cost money but deliver results
• Quality over quantity saves you time and emotional energy

Think of it as investing in your happiness vs. wasting hours on dead-end swipes.

Question 19

How long does it typically take to find someone?

Accepted Answer

Every journey is different, but most active members begin meaningful conversations within their first few weeks. Timelines depend on:

• How specific your preferences are
• Your city's member density
• How open you are to feedback
• Active participation in events

We focus on finding the RIGHT person, not just anyone. And if we can't find suitable matches, we'll pause your billing. You only pay when we deliver value.

Question 20

What happens after I find someone?

Accepted Answer

Congratulations! Your options:

• Cancel your membership (no penalties ever)
• Join our couples' community at 50% off for:
  - Relationship workshops
  - Couples' events
  - Ongoing coaching support
• Refer single friends and get a month free per successful referral
• Share your success story to inspire others (optional)

We celebrate your success - we don't try to keep you single!

Question 21

What makes you confident this will work for me?

Accepted Answer

Our confidence comes from:

• Human judgment beats algorithms for compatibility
• Verified members mean genuine intentions
• Small member base = more personalized attention
• Ongoing support addresses relationship challenges
• Our business model rewards successful relationships

If it's not working, we'll pause your billing. We only succeed when you do.
